2009 Legacy Euro NCAP

5-Star Euro NCAP Rating awarded to the New Subaru Legacy

The European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) has awarded the new 2010MY Legacy Station Wagon 2.0D Sport LHD model (European specifications) the highest possible 5-Star safety rating in its combined safety performance tests. These tests have become much more stringent in 2009, and now assess areas such as "Adult Occupant Protection", "Child Occupant Protection", "Pedestrian Protection" and "Safety Assist". Subaru vehicles have been awarded high ratings by other safety assessment tests in the past, however this is the first time Subaru has been awarded with the highest 5-Star rating from Euro NCAP.
