A cool demonstration of the aweseome Korg's Pandora PX4D features from Gearwire.
A sadly underrated machine.

This part shows the almost unique jam functions Pandora has, check part 2 out!

  • Wish I knew what amp he is running through, way better demo

  • @chickabuka you can run it through normal speakers, monitors and so and it will sound like sounds on the video... it has amp/cabinet simulation, so it sounds like a mic-ed amp!

  • does this work with headphones?

    answer please

  • Yeah, of course ;)

And sounds awesome. Plugging a headphone on an amp gives you (most of amps) a raw sound, with a lot of buzz, almost unusable. The PX4D emulates the microphoneted sound of an amp (like its recorded in studio) giving you a very decent sound.

  • Shit, goodbye pocket pod!

  • I do have both. Most of Pocket POD's simulations are better, but Pandora is extremelly funny, so I use both. I just bought the PX5D (the new version of Px4D). That's the best shit for the money, for sure!

  • I have one, it's cool. Nice vid. I gotta say, tho, you had to be getting pissed when the thing wouldn't stay still while you were adjusting it. I know, that sucks. it drives me nuts.

  • ATENÇÃO, ESTOU VENDENDO UM DESTES. Interessados, msg me! Abraço

  • ive had one of these for a few years now...i am honestly just an amateur home guitarist..... this px4d has made home jamming soo much fun..... it has stuff on it i have not a clue how to work...but good for playing over loops... sounds good thru my small fender champ 66 valve amp too....

  • amazing player!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great playing. I have one of these, so it was funny watching him try to stop it from sliding all over the place, that bugs me -- really sucky plug layout/balance, I'd rather see opposite-side input-ouput plugs. Still an awesome machine for the money, and the fact that it works with bass is just invaluable.

  • wtf! hell of a player! great review. should be a korg endorser! thanks for posting

  • @ivnvir so no mater how much of an epic or crappy guitar you have, when you run it through the korg everything played is going to sound exactly as in the vid? you know, since it emulates the micro-phoned sound of an amp and all like you said.

if so doesn't that every guitarist that plays through this will sound exactly the same and have no individual or unique sound? that would be kind of...gay :/

  • @tubegigable His name's Rob Math. An ace studio player. Has a nice website too!

  • just so everyone knows- when he talks of adjusting the bass keys? or the key of the song... he is not engaging the actual "BASS" sound this device provides fo you... what the key change is for, is there is an actual bass that will jam along with you and you can change the key of that sound of course. as you notice when he did this, he was thinking it was just the key of the drums?? or guitar?? or something. but it is for the bass that can be engaged and it just wasn't in this video.

  • I will get mine on monday, Cant wait to try it out, Thanks for the speedy reply, nice riffs BTW!!!
