Scotland travel: Culzean ("Cull-ane") Castle Experience dining room. The food was good, but a lot has to do with the presentation. From their web site, we were expecting "the dining room" as shown in the picture on their web site, not convention center accoutrements in a spare room upstairs. The 35 pound (more than $70) per person dinner (adult OR child!) was good food but could be avoided as a major dining goal, since there is no "castle" dining atmosphere. Real People having Real Fun! How things have changed in the eisenhower apartments, they once had one large table in the dining room, which had candleabras on, crystal glasses, wedgewood plates & the eisenhower apartments even had its own unique silver cutlery. Looks like you were had, I wouldn't pay the money they are asking. The food looks nothing like as good as it once was.
