@SomethingsUp55 Hope so. It's a novelty having one that knows it's job rather than having taught it, I will be honest - never had that luxury before! Even on ponies!

@petrishka Mine is much the same showjumping wise, I think its both of our weaker phases so its like the blind leading the blind at times! I'm sure you'll be fine, think positively! At least you know you both have the ability to do well, just keep on kicking! Haha x

@SomethingsUp55 I am extremely lucky with him. He has his quirks and issues, and for him this is a really big achievement (I presume your or L have looked up his record so know SJ is not his strongest phase). He is an insane worrier with the showjumping and I am looking on getting his confidence before we consider intermediate. I love him to pieces and what makes it really special is he's all mine, and I went through a lot to be able to get him. I am, in all honesty, bricking it about Novice!

@cheekychico1 haha I was eventing sunday! I know his canter is divine but it totally throws me xc. He's got quite an up-through-down stride with quite a bit of knee action, which becomes more when we're bowling XC. It feels like we're going really fast when actually we're barely travelling at all! Lots of practice needed me thinks!! xx

LAURA! This was brill! you're getting on so well with him & riding him so quietly, very neat... shame about that last fence, looks as though he said "PHEW finished!" and lost his concentration slightly; big things to come here, methinks! xx
