  • Nice looking truck man. I have a 72 with a 392 6.4L V8 in it. I turned my long bed in for a utility box from Koenig. My old beast has 413,000 miles on it and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. Good trade for the silverado.....

  • nice truck i have one just like it except i am currently doing a frame off resto even though it has 22,000 original miles....do u suggest any good places to get parts???

  • @tomfan180 1975

  • @tomfan180 Stopped making them in and around 1975 yet continued selling them till there were no more. They stopped making scouts in 1980. IH had some huge financial issues resulting from strikes and increased costs required to produce vehicles that met environmental and safety regulations. Mix that with mid 60's and newer rigs having rust issues, they didn't sell as many rigs as the big three.
