This was filmed on the first trip out to demo the "Humblestick" flyrod by Pieroway Rod Company. Post spawn Rainbows is the target fish, and stripping a golden stones through foamy backwater produces a few decent specimens as well as a nice Bull Trout. The Humblefisherman then encounters something in the backwater so big, so angry, so old, and so damn smart, it challenges the Humblefisherman in a game of wits. Guess who wins...

Sick vid jay! I just finished making my own net after losing a monster cutty on closing day in the sw tribbs. Couldn't live with myself if I let another one of those flip around in the water undone if me and get away lol
