They have stopped making this Brilliant piece of kit, mine is 7 years old and pisses on anything else.

Brilliant system; I've had mine for 9 years now and as long as they are kept clean, they never miss a beat.
I also attach my IPad and have all my music on that as well, listening via the 6 feet Beosound 1 speakers and sub woofer...
As they say, once you go B & O, you never go back.

@amomimous lol i have bang and olufsen on my laptop and its almost louder than my sony TV

Maybe if I were wealthy I would have a B&O system. I thought Bose was expensive but not near as much as B&O.
-
I can't take it anymore

cant afford this but I have small headphones and bluetooth headphones - -" those are like 250 pounds each already. it looks cool but i dun think the performance is up there.

I have a beosound 9000 mk3 and a pair of beolab 8000 speakers and a pair of beolab 6000's acting as rear speakers and it sounds absolutely great. You probably could buy something that sounds better for less sure, but is unlikely to look anywhere as good as the B&O does and that is a fact.
I often wonder if the people who call this stuff garbage have ever actually owned or even heard this equipment before passing judgement?

@figure261 CD's age going to be around for a Long time people who actually care about music still buys them!

You've clearly never heard B&O. Audition the BeoLab5s and dare to call them crap.
