Wow. I get the impression that the point of old anime openings is to see how many times they can squeeze the title into the song.
Then again, that's not so very different from american cartoons...

@MayThereBePivot What? I filibuster Though I should hire you as my translator so people can understand me..

@formertofu "I have an opinion "
Amazing tale brethren.
-
@MayThereBePivot or it could just be Casshern Sins wasn't meant for me and I have an opinion that if you're going to reboot something you don't throw everything about the source material out the window but continue to reference the source material with little cameos by characters from it. Its a difference of opinion rather than being mad. Now trashing the source material for not being as dark and dreary as what was made thirty years later, that seems snobbish.
-
@formertofu Mad =/= valid point.
-
@MayThereBePivot so you're mad that a cartoon from the 70s is cheesy? Sure Casshern Sins might have been trying to be more mature, but it did it in a way that felt like it was an emo teen trying to show they're ideas are relevant by just trying to comment on things they've never seen commented on. Casshern should be a story about what is lost and what can be lost when trying to protect the innocent from evil (in this case robot nazis) and the struggles that come from that

Thank God they haven't dubbed this. Dubbing is worse than terrorism.

kick! attack! dan ko punch!

LMFAO They really changed this show didn't they?
-
@snoochyboochies22 dude anyone can notice that just by seeing the intro.
...did friender just really turn into a fucking jet?
...
Dear god, I'm glad the SINS project team threw the whole fucking plot of doo-lalie down the staircase and started anew.

@MayThereBePivot Come on now, most animes from 35-40 years ago were like this.

@animajunki123 No English dub, or even subs exist of this show so you'd have a hard time watching it, unless you know teh Japanese.

@SuperAdventures Subs exist, The Skaro Hunting Society are subbing this. They take their sweet damned time subbing each episode, but hey, it's worth the wait.

@TheMexicanLynx Hmm, news to me. Props to them for subbing a nearly 40-year old anime. If only they had the resources and manpower of the late ADV, which took on a similar product that had already been dubbed twice before in English and which they weren't obligated to do (Gatchaman). I think the poor sales of that killed whatever remaining chance the other '70's Tatsunoko superhero series had of being given official U.S releases.
