  • Bresson, Bach, Raja... Just love the symphony, truly enigmatic...

  • I was wondering. There is no dislike votes to this piece. Raja is Raja. And the image is one of my favorite snaps of all time.

  • @srianasmi :) You just said it. I was trying hard to recall.

  • @srianasmi I think you have it spot on! I felt the same way..especially in the "question-answer" passage 1:10 - 2:00!

  • Wonderful piece...that is so bewitching.Rajavirku en vannakangal.

  • laya in this context means "speed of movement", and ragam means "melodic pattern".

layaraagam = structure and progression of a melody

  • no words can express it...great work from THE GREATEST no doubt...try listen to BGM of ABORVA SAGOTHARGAL (i may have spelt it wrong, talkin about the kamal hassans movie)...its fantastic

  • I think this awesome piece is loosely related to Raja Sir's song "Kalaivaniye unnaithane" from the movie Sindhu Bhairavi.

  • beautiful... no words to describe the genius...

  • Illayaraja is the name of the composer, Raagam means a form of classical music in south india, so they added it together..
