  • Lastly, I have way too much work to do right now to continue with this conversation. So, I guess, you'll get the last word . . . by default.

  • @Orthodoxcrusader [2] . . . What you wrote about morality being a “direct consequence of empathy and reason meeting. . . .” adds nothing to the debate. U still do not have OBJECT morals from this and therefore CANNOT have any subjective morals to follow. Furthermore, how far to u think that argument would go with women “suffering” from Stockholm Syndrome, esp. if they are materialist evolutionists.

  • @Orthodoxcrusader [1] So much to respond to and I have things to do. (1) You're wrong about Einstein. (2) Theism only doesn't work in your mind because you haven't thought this issue of morals through to its logical conclusion. (3) Islam fails next to Christianity for theological/philosophical, and historical reasons I would offer as proofs. (4) You use several logical fallacies such as what you wrote about "Theistic god is impossible to prove and so easy to disprove . . ." . . .

  • @TruthUnadulterated

    Theism doesn't work...

The way you use to "prove" your god Muslims as well can use to "prove" their god. most of those "proofs" being tautologies (And we know what that implies, right?) anyways... Others being straightforward logical fallacies...

Theistic god is impossible to prove and so easy to disprove; A deistic god is impossible to disprove (I mean, what to disprove?), but we're still waiting deists to prove it...

  • @TruthU

I do find Jesus to be a remarkable historical figure and I do take a leap of faith to choose to believe one such man actually existed, but that's it. That is incorrect - he didn't become a deist because of the "problem of evil". He became so because of the "modesty and awareness of how limited the human knowledge is", that roughly were his own words. It isn't scientific objection - no one said it was. Theism he put in category of "childish", out of any consideration.

  • @Orthodoxcrusader Theism works just fine. On the other hand, as for Einstein, he left judaism somewhat but was not willing to embrace Christianity where the "problem of evil" was dealt with. He did find Jesus to be a remarkable historical figure but chose not to accept His role with respect to the PoE so as to not become a Christian. He became a deist becasuse He could not reconcile in his mind the problem of evil. It was NOT a scientific objection. Deism has it's own issues.

  • @TruthUnadulterated

If you were a deist, you'd at least be able to justify your superstition and give it a fancy packaging that would sorta sound like reasonable. And no one would be able anyhow to disprove or prove it. Theism, on the other hand, is just plain silly...

"An idea of a personal god is a childish one"

    Albert Einstein

  • @TruthUnadulterated

Morale is direct consequence of empathy and reason meeting. And empathy is one of the most significant survival mechanisms of a social animal known as human...

That's not a "counter evidence", it's the sole evidence.

Now, it's left for you to prove that a god you happen to be born into worshiping (Yes, "born into" is factually true in most of cases. Location, by far, determined which god you're to pick) is the only "true god" out of hundreds of gods!

  • @suvarenee I've seen a few of ur vids now and the only conclusion . . . your not too bright. But that's ok, no one says you have to be. But if you know your mental limitations then you ought not be too eager to show your face before thousands uttering such ignorance. So I know you believe, as a nonbeliever in God, that morals exist (lol), and you offer no counter evidence just anger-driven subjective emotionalsim betraying your FAITH base. But who needs evidence anyway, right?

  • @AndyG792 1st Baugh is not a real Dr. His Dr. degrees come from unaccredited schools. 2nd No reviewed publications. I can claim that water will flow upwards in opposite direction of gravity. As long as i cant prove it scientifically, im wrong, just pseudoscientific or a liar. Exactly like Baugh. The lack of knowledge about science is on you if you think Baugh is a reliable scientist.
