Ahh poor girl. Hopefully she is able to find another friend to bond with. Sometimes animals don't recover from a loss like that.

I really hope they are telling the truth as to what happened. If it was coyotes would there not be trace evidence left on the dog possibly that points to them doing it ?

I just heard on the news that Bella (the dog) was found dead on the grounds of the animal sanctuary last week. I am so bummed out and have even cried since I heard that Bella is gone. They think coyotes might have killed Bella. Such a bummer. Animals are the coolest things - we can learn so much from them.

@Bitsy83 I don't think Tara did it. It was probably one of the other elephants on the reserve.

@OutlawTomFantastic Well, it doesn't matter HOW Bella got hurt. The fact is that they still obviously love each other and, if Bella did get f'd up by Tara, then obviously Tara was forgiven otherwise Bella wouldn't have been so happy to see her. Dogs don't forget being abused.
