Pâte Choux or cream puff pastry is the name for the dough used to make éclairs, profiteroles and cheese puffs. On this tutorial you will learn step by step how to make pate choux, how to check for the right consistency and how to finish your eclairs with a creme légère ( pastry cream enriched with whipped cream) and chocolate glaze on top.

  • Hey I live in New Zealand and I haven't been able to find Heavy cream in any supermarkets, so does anyone know where I could buy it or know of any company that imports it.... I really want to make this recipe :)

  • @vanillabeano make it without the heavy cream. The filling will be pastry cream instead of creme legere but it will taste good as well.

    Are you sure you can't find any type of cream? not even in a can?

  • @dulcedelight1 Can i use whipping cream? im having the same problem. i can't find heavy cream. would it be the same?
