If the engine is in good shape, it shouldn't have much problem pulling it around as long as you don't expect to be passing anyone.

How fast were ya going? I got an 85 k20 with the 6.2 and an 8 foot lance in the back. Been having trouble getting it above 50 on some hills. Just got the truck, so I know I got work, but just wondering about how fast you were running

heck yea these trucks will. i have one similar with a 6.2L they take a little time to get up to speed but they ride better with a load. mpg are awesome too. 20-25mpg
