"Women's Issues"

This is a TV ad I made for a project that was assigned in my graphic art class. We had to choose a world issue and make an organization that raises awareness about it. My partner and I chose Women's Issues, and for this ad, we focused on eating disorders, and the affects childhood toys have on some girls.
It's kind of the first video I made like this, haha. ^^

I found all of the pictures while I was browsing Deviantart and Google Images.

It's hard to believe that some of those photos weren't edited to make the girls look skinnier. Some seriously looked like skin wrapped around a skeleton. I'm sure some of the girls in the photos are dead today because of their disorders. If a man finds anorexia attractive, then he is just as sick as those suffering from the disorder.

As for the quality of the video, it was great. I like the range of photos, the delivery of the message, the music and the timing. Very well done.

I'm sure they're either dead or in very serious condition, as well. I don't understand how anyone could find being that skinny attractive. =(

Inner beauty is important, but outter beauty isn't pointless either. That being said, none of the women in this video were all that aesthetically appealing. They have a false image of themselves, and telling them ohhh outer beauty isn't important, just stop that nonsense sounds to them like "You'll never be what you want, so just stop trying." In reality, physical beauty and health are important, but their goals are neither beautiful or healthy.

you're right. the point of this video wasn't to say that outer beauty is pointless, just that everyone is able to be beautiful without going to such extreme measures.

Woah, I feel bad for these chicks, I think they look disgusting. I think that curvy women are beautiful, there's nothing wrong with it. For example Jessica simpson, i think she's beautiful, people call her fat but I don't think she's fat, she's gorgeous. Girls need to stop caring about what other people think, and just be feminine, no matter what size you are, you could still be beautiful and sexy.
