Based on the novel by Edith Wharton, starring Liam Neeson, Patricia Arquette and a wonderfully prickly Joan Allen as Zeena. Nice job all around, though they did take some liberties with the story, and don't watch if you've had a bad day--it's quite depressing!

i had to read the book and i just finished, i didnt even know there was a moviee.. the book is ery sad and depressing.. so short tho, u can read it in lyk 2-3 hours or less!
