  • I've seen that one a lot of times now and I still like it. Nice idea!

  • Silly arguments over the internet, always the best way to make yourself look pathetic.

  • Laugh? - I nearly couldn't start

  • I don't understand that blood stories..... they were born in england, therefore are english.

  • @BeatleBangs1964 I'd also find it a bit far pushed to suggest Harrison was French. The Ffrench family came into Ireland from England, 800 years back. They were part of the ruling Norman elite in Englanf, which was Scandanvian Norse in Origin not French. The Duchy of Normandy was largely independant from the French crown, and though they adopted French language, they were definently Scandanavian, their founder was called 'Rollo the Viking'!

  • @BeatleBangs1964 John has no Scottish blood I am aware of. His grandmother Annie Jane Millward was an Englishwoman, born to two Welsh parents, so Lennon was arguably quarter Welsh. Likewise his grandfather Jack Lennon was English born, but to two Irish parents. John like Scotland because his aunt Betty moved up their with her second husband, Colonel Charles Molyneaux Parkes, and he spent childhood holidays there, but he has no Scots blood. Incidently neither does McCartney.

Louise French Harrison had an Irish dad. Her dad was born in County Wexford. She had many relatives in the Emerald Isle and took many trips there to see them. George had strong ties to Ireland. When the Beatles played in Ireland in 1963 and 1964, Louise Harrison flew up to see George and her other relatives. George loved taking trips to Ireland when he was a boy. Louise said George looked like her dad and she was right. You might enjoy "The Beatles & Ireland."

English with Irish ancestry. John and George had Irish grandfathers. Paul had Irish ancestry on both sides of his family tree and Ringo was the only Beatle who might not have been Irish. George had strong ties to Ireland. Louise made many trips there when her little Harrisons were young and they knew their relatives in Ireland. When the Beatles came to Ireland in 11/63 and 10/64, Louise Harrison flew there to see her son and her other relatives.

John also had Scottish bloodlines as well. He was Anglo-Irish-Scottish-Welsh.

George had some French ancestry. Louise Harrison's dad, John French Sr. was born in Ireland. French knights settled in Ireland during the Middle Ages and were given the surname Ffrench. Louise French's dad and his siblings ditched the 2nd F and were French. George had a thin strand of French blood in his lineage. He was Franco-Anglo-Irish.

  • This is fun. I like him. He does good segues.

Louise Harrison said George looked like her dad, John French Sr. Her dad was born in County Wexford, Ireland. The Harrisons made many trips to the Emerald Isle because Louise had many relatives in Ireland. George loved going to the Emerald Isle.
