In 2002, world renowned integral/visionary artist, Alex Grey was interviewed on 'Contact Talk Radio'. Psychedelic Artist, Roger Anthony Essig, asks Alex via email of the spiritual danger of encountering entities while having a DMT, (Dimethyltryptamine) experience.

This is a rare interview and possibly the only version now in existence.

'Towards the end of the interview it features the closest representation I've done of the DMT experience so far.'
Roger Anthony Essig, 2009.

  • @magla345 a simple preventative is to be creative.

  • @magla345 What is wrong with wanting to be youthful all your life? as opposed to working 60 hours a week, to save up money to buy worthless shit you don't need, stuff you cannot take with you when you die? The things you do take with you are your experiences...not money and houses and cars and useless stuff that does nothing but inflate some sort of empty sense of self worth, measured only by useless work and materials...work is great, if its a work of passion...

  • @exploremorenmore Also, one problem these days is a lot of people smoke DMT from pipes and never take enough hits to understand the full possibility of it. Most get stuck in 'hyperspace' and will encounter visions or entities, but like psilocybin and LSD, it is able to allow for a non-dual mystical experience.

  • @KeMoniito Somewhat true, but all psychedelics have the potential for 'abuse', as in just trying to get as fucked up as possible or just looking for fun. And I believe having certain experiences on LSD or mushrooms is necessary to be able to face up to DMT and 'handle' the experience (not that that's always exactly possible). All can be used positively and learned from, but none give quite the impression of rapidly entering and exiting another dimension like DMT does.

  • Greetings, rogeressig! Thank you for putting the time into creating such an animation, rather than just adding lame music to the clip... You could also have copped out by putting together some pictures of Mr. Grey's work... So thank you very much for lending your creativity to such a great clip! Cheers, my friend :)

  • @KeMoniito That person still has a lot of opening up to do if they think those people are any less worthy of the cleansing of your soul

  • raw dog Rodger... I wonder what he's into

  • @scottiebones ...One person that had experienced DMT told me that DMT is not in the same category as LSD.... he told me that DMT is like a doorway to another dimension, while LSD and mushrooms are simple, vulgar hallucinogens that only distort your reality and are for vulgar pot-heads, alcoholics, drug addicts and jack-offs looking up to "get high" , have a "good time" or an escape in a "psychedelic" trip. DMT is not for that kind of people at all.

  • i love the shoe polishy taste of DMT
