This song was written by the great Leon Payne(1917-1969)..I first heard it on a compilation tape called Wavey Gravey Vol. 1.I think it is the Eddie Noack version that I first heard there..
Two of my other all time great psycho songs are also on that comp...LSD Made A Wreck Outa me, by Wendell Austin..and Rubber Room by Porter Wagoner.

Hey Rolland..thanks to you..I looked this song up..and found the writer and some other obscure favorites of mine also. It was written by a blind song writer..Leon Payne(1917-1969)..The Eddie Noack version is the one that I first heard on Wavey Gravery.Vol. A compilation tape an old girlfriend turned me on to way back in the stoned age.

I'd never heard this song before but it's catchy albeit a bit bizarre! I looked it up and found that Elvis Costello had a version of it but some country guy did it well before he did. Anyway, I'm liking the camera positioning here. I'd record a few stand up videos if I weren't too lazy to move all the chords for the camera and mic and all!
