Our Dancers thrive on the excitement of performance and success!

"So Fly" is an award winning routine choreographed by Nick Tull at L.A.S.D. for our 2010 Performance Troupe.

Laurie-Ann's School of Dance Inc. was the first studio in London to establish a Competitive Dance Troupe. Our troupe consists of Dancers ranging in age from 5 - 19 years. Our dancers annually attend 5 to 8 competitions or festivals within the city of London and across Southwestern Ontario. Our Performance Troupe is available to perform at various venues and events throughout London and area. The Performance Troupe has been invited to perform and entertain at many local events such as: the MS Walk, the London International Children's Festival, "Together We Dance" (Downs Syndrome Social), London Children's Museum and numerous conventions.
Not every dancer Competes or Performs with the idea of making dance a career. At the very least, dancers gain valuable experience, increased self-confidence, and excel with their technique at a faster rate. MANY competitions and festivals offer opportunities for cash scholarships, media recognition and further national championships. Often dancers make connections for the future: auditions for the Canadian National Tap Team, Cruise Lines, Professional Programs or companies, and opportunities for summer school programs or dance workshops.
