I agree with macksfischer. How old one looks in peach, pink or red lipsticks or depends on the wearer's skintone and coloring, and the texture of the product itself. Some are more flattered by reds than pinks and vice versa. The key is to get the shade and depth right. She's right about not wearing deep burgandy lipstick if you are blond with fair skin. Women of color can pull off burgandies easier than pale pinks. I totally agree with Isaac's love of cherry red lipstick.
I think of these older, French women in their red lipsticks and they look fabulous!!! I think peach and frost colors tend to make women look older, but reds look divine on my olive skin and I'm in my 30s. Just my opinion.
Its about what fits the individual! And red lips can look awesome!

I hate a lot of ideas from that book. I agree with you Isaac, about the red lipstick. If done right, it can be very regal and beautiful at any age.
