I was a high school senior reading Grapes of Wrath when this was on tight rotation on my cassette player. This song is soooo deep. I was intrigued by the melody yet depressed by the lyrics paired with my heavy required reading back in the day. I still "see" and feel the weight of this song but I still love it. I'm transported back in time.
