  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been having recent problems like ringing in my ears for a while now, headaches and finally weird visuals and disorientation. I just got back from NYC for a conference on healthcare and had to lay down in the hotel all day because I almost fell over, puked and just felt ill. I kept thinking I was going mad but after watching your video and doing some research, I think I am headed to the doc's in the AM w/ a better idea of what to talk to them about

  • @Nathina1980 Sorry to hear that you're having to deal with this but I promise you it gets better. Stay strong.

  • I am 14 years old, I am on week 7 of this illness, poor balance, slow reflexes, neck problems, back headache, I even thought I have brain tumour, MUCH MUCH ANXIETY! I hope it gets away, i would give everything for this to go away, i need my life back, my normal self back! Im still too young... :/ even having a grippe now, fever on my ears and neck.. One thing makes me happy, I know that Im not alone.. but this will get out soon, keep moving, playing, running, working it gets better! Cheers.

  • @FTorresDdrogba i denied that i had a problem with anxiety for quite a while, or i guess had a problem that i couldn't deal with. i got a therapist and was put on anti anxiety meds. that helped me significantly. the anxiety compounds the problem. maybe ask your doctor but help in controlling the anxiety helped me control everything else much better.

  • I've had labrynthitis for almost a year and a half now. It's helpful to hear you talk about the same symptoms I have! you mentioned eye strain- I deal with this no matter what the weather is outside, I have to squint when I drive and I Can't drive at night. Meds did nothing for me. The weird thing about it for me is that mine seems like it's getting better and then it gets really bad- it goes through this cycle over and over again. Did this happen to you?

  • @smlndolphn That's exactly what happened to me. Medication didn't help me either, it actually hurt me pretty bad. I decided to attack it from a different angle recently. I got a counselor and am on anti anxiety medication to help me manage the symptoms. I've seen more improvement in the last 3 months than the last 3 years. The cycle you describe sucks but it's exactly what happened to me. Hang in there and keep at it.

  • hi ive been suffering from hearing loss ringin in the ears and dizziness all the symptoms are 24 7.. i have not got a proper diagnosis one doctor said it could b labrinthitis i've had it for almos 4 month...s it has gotten much better from the beginging but just wondering if anyone has had what im experiencing if so will it go away, it's just really hard to function thnak you

  • I was told i have viral labyrinthitis last year august, i felt better after about 5months but then it suddenly got worse again, i just feel constantly dizzy non stop and it has taken my life away from me, i can't even work or function properly now. Finding so difficult to balance i don't know what made it worse but it has been over half a year now and i am still dizzy don't know when i will recover, sometimes i think i won't. Had an MRI (drs here in the UK are so slow) and waiting on results

  • @bradleyjames1 how are you feeling now?

  • I was diagnosed with utricle disease (also a vestibular organ must know) after a year and a half of symptoms very similar to yours (couldn't deal with crowds, grocery stores, IKEA etc.) You are the first person I've seen discuss the eye issues, but I absolutely went through that as well. I'm curious how you're doing now? I'm on my 15th or so month and am basically back to normal but my life was destroyed. Used to live in downtown Seattle myself.
