Marvin could play a number of instruments, drums and piano being two of them. A true musician!

Marvin Gaye, during his early days with Motown, was a studio musician for different Motown Groups and Sam Cooke. He played the drums, piano, Hammond organ, saxaphone, clarinet, electric and base guitar. He was right up there with Stevie Wonder (and Stevie was just a kid then) when it came to being an excellent vocalist and talented multi-instrumentalist.
