I'm very excited to see that there is just as much pride with the Gay Movement as there has been with previous movements. I only hope that one day(hopefully in my lifetime.) that the concept of gays not haveing the right to marry who they desire will be as ludicrous as blacks and women not having the right to vote.

Certain that without that standpoint my view may be different. I understand many ppl believe the gay movement to be over the top. But I can only imagine the womens rights movement seemed just as much over the top to ppl who didn't support it.

100% with Kirsten on her statement that gay rights is the civil rights movement of our generation. Nobody liked the idea of giving blacks or women rights when they were working towards it, but over time people come together and realize the importance of allowing all ppl of every diverse background to make their own life decisions.
