In this NASA video segment learn how oceans were formed and what makes oceans salty. This segment also explains the differences between ocean and fresh water rivers.
It's amazing how many people don't know what a theory means in science. I also believe evolution HAS been OBSERVED in bacteria with short lived generations, or what is called 'microevolution'. Evolution is a fact, even after taking basic biology classes you'd derive it from common sense. It can't happen any other way.
@21radioboy We have. You would need to look at and read the information to learn what is known about how we know this. The people that tell you otherwise don't know any better
@daro2096 Google Project_Steve . I know you need to deny a lot to cling to your superstition and just acknowledge the science you use to enjoy life but if you were interested in how we know what we know about the age of the earth you should look up and really read, Potassium argon dating , Dendrochronology , radiometric dating & the creationists favorite radio carbon dating. Ken Ham has nothing to say on the matter, ignorance is not a virtue
@daro2096 Facts are not determined by what one believes their determined by evidence. The peer review process try's to disprove the conclusions of the author , if the process fails to disprove it it becomes accepted science. Name one , just one peer reviewed paper submitted and published in a science journal from a creation "scientist ". There are more real scientist named Steve backing evolution than there are of any name that claim creation science as a discipline.
We have theories. We have facts supporting theories. What you believe will determine how you interpret the facts. For example: there are fossils buried in the rock strata. A evolutionist will say each rock layer and where you find the fossil tells you how old it is. A creation scientist will say all these rock layers and fossils formed at the same time due to a world wide flood.
Both sides have the same facts. There are fossils. What you believe determines the result.
@daro2096 The law expanded on by a theory, Relativity.. But I'm happy to give you Law instead of theory in the case of gravity........you still have many "just a theory" theories to deal with . Evolution among them. You would need to be open to facts and not driven by dogma to understand it
Gravity is not a THEORY it is a LAW. LAW OF GRAVITY? You can observe and prove gravity exists through performing EXPERIMENTS. You know like throwing up a ball in the air ten times. Does the ball always fall back to the ground? Gravitty is true SCIENCE. Do you know what SCIENCE is?
Evolution is not SCIENCE. You can not OBSERVE, DEMONSTRATE AND REPEAT evolution.
Peer reviews means nothing. They have evidence supporting their beliefs, thats all
@daro2096 Evolution is a fact. A theory in science is a body of knowledge that is added to or changed as more facts come to light, not just simply a hypothesis. A few examples that effect your daily life , the theory of gravity, germ theory , atomic theory, theory of thermodynamics, theory of relativity, cell theory , theory of Electromagnetism , and one without which we would not be having this conversation , The theory of quantum physics. Peer reviewed.....Facts
