-That's so mean, not letting him eat first! My pocket parrot dives right in there into my spaghetti, whatever, and boy does he make a fuss if I protest! We know who's boss here. He does help me weed, making sure weeds are pulled up all the way and pointing out other ones I could pick, and is interested in supervising every moment of my life. It's a lot of responsibility, but he's up to it!

Oh, also, milk is bad for birds, so the cereal is a no-go. Johnny's owner here knows best by not feeding him anything.

My bird used to dive in my popcorn bowl, he also tried to eat from my mouth and once he dived in my tea but he did manage to get out of it safely. RIP! Miss it so much.

I remember I used to feed my galah some light chocolate milk on a spoon...probably not the best idea but he loved it.

It's EXACTLY the same with my 2 budgies :) When we eat and I open the cage, they fly sometimes even IN the bowl haha

Well, I, for one, think he's got good manners. My budgie just jumps on us or in our plates to steal our food. He even tries to put his head in our mouths to go get it. He's a pest, but he's my pest

ahahahaa! thats soo funny! my budgie use to do that! he only use to go to my dads plate and rob grains of rice from his plate. then when he gets thirsty he drinks from our water glass. one time he actually got stuck my sister had to pull him out that glass from his tail! lol he was such a funny budgie! love the guy! his name was chuckey.....i miss him :( had him for 8years RIP

Johnny rules! My bird used to try to climb in my mouth to see what I was eating lol...but of course, she never got that close. They're so adorable, when you train them properly...they are so smart.
