The Swift Parrot - Lathamus Discolor

The Endangered Swift Parrot (Lathamus discolor) breeds in Tasmania and flies to the eastern States of mainland Australia every year. Their migratory path might take them past your front door. Beautifully done and I appreciate how hard it is to film this species as I had no end to trouble getting close to them on Bruney Island, Tassie

I believe these rare birds are often seen near Melbourne Zoo and a few years ago they were seen in a Spotted Gum in a back yard in my area!
