"The Rolling Stones-Rock and Roll Circus" featured The Who, The Stones of course and a short lived super group called "The Dirty Mac", made up of the late great John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, and Keith Richards. The Circus includes a few other acts and Taj Mahal performs Ain't That A Lot Of Love.
Dirty Mac's rendition of John Lennon's(Beatles) "Yer Blues" is epic, definitely one for the ages. The Mac also plays "Whole Lotta Yoko" , I'd call it too much Yoko, brace yourself.
That is Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, who goes by the stage name Taj Mahal. He performed this live in 1968 at "The Rolling Stones-Rock and Roll Circus" concert do a search on this to check out some of the other bands that played at that concert. (cont.)
