  • Hello Donovan, great review by the way :) can you make a review of the promethean p5115k its the third bass combo of the promethean amps aside the p5110 and p5210. I will really appreciate it. thank you..

  • @MrDanWesley I'm not planning on getting any of those in, so I won't be able to do a review... Sorry! But thank you for the kind words!

  • Hi, great review, I'm just wondering how this amp would cope with a gig?

If you were to use a big extension cab I'm sure its great, but as is, if you went into a D.I. and just used the single ten inch cab as your local on stage how does it cope?

    Thanks for the review!

  • @MattGeogheganMusic Of course it depends on how loud the stage volume is from the other musicians, but I think it would cope just fine with most bands. If not, if you got it off the floor and closer to ear level it would be fine for sure (perhaps use a keyboard stand).

  • @FretSpot Thanks!! I really want one of these, or something similar to make load in easier on the back!

  • @MattGeogheganMusic Amen, brother! I LOVE my TC Staccato 51 - you might want to take a look at it. I do have TC RH450's, Staccato 51's and the Ibanez Promethean available for sale if you are interested. Email me for prices - donovan@fretspot.com

  • No Problem :) continue with the great reviews it's pretty helpful.. :D

  • but the question is: should i buy it?? :D

  • @ssiii Depends on the extension. With only a 1x12 or 1x10 extension it might be a bit tough to keep up. Add a 2x10, 2x12 or 4x10 and you'll be fine...

  • how would this amp hold up against a randall kh120 half stack when used with an extension? the guitarist likes to scoop out his mids and i like to crank mine especially the low mids and the drummer is kinda loud
