The Devil's Daughter

NOW PLAYING: The Devils Daughter a new play by Fred Paul Bailey and directed by Jonathan Hymen. The play is about a professional magician/illusionist who has a full-time gig at his quirky aunts night club, Club Magique. After working on stage together for years his assistant, Victoria, leaves the act to pursue a relationship with her boyfriend (a Chicago baseball player). A distraught Blake then meets a beautiful woman, Casindra, who appears in the club one night and is immediately entranced by her. What Blake doesnt know is that Casindra is the Devils Daughter! As Blake and Casindras romance blossoms it is, well compromised, by her father, the Devil and her little brother, Carmichael. Filled with drama, comedy and romance this family friendly magical mystery will leave you spellbound as you witness the magic, illusions and escapes of the The Devils Daughter!

You wont want to miss this production that so purposefully combines illusion and theatre creating a new art form for the Chicago theatergoers and tourists. This is theatre for all ages, young and old alike, so be sure to bring the whole family!

The show opened Thursday, November 6, 2008 for a six week run through December 14th. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances will be at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday shows will begin at 4:00 p.m. La Costa Theatre Company is located at 3931 N. Elston in the Old Irving neighborhood.
