  • We need to get the Government back to working for the People By The People. Corperations are not People and should not have a voice.

  • Hey Asshole: Keynes won a Nobel prize, and Bank of America doesn't make computers!

  • @nem700 Ahh Ok I understand what your getting at now. Yes we do need to revamp the whole system. I just don't see those in power giving it up without a fight. I have a bad feeling that in a few years we are going to be in the same boat as Egypt. At war with those in power and trying to survive day to day.

The fundamental problem is that they have too much power in this system. representative democracies are dictatorships where they can do what they want for 4 years. This should never be allowed to happen. If all you're going to do is replace the current government rather than the system, ,you will only be removing the lumps not the cancer. The system needs to be changed to one where they revert to their constituency, rather than senators, for approval for every single proposal.

  • @nem700 Not sure what your question is. We would have a Government that is being held in check by those that they are sworn to work for. We now have a corperate run government. There are laws being broken or just ignored by those in public office. Those people need to be removed. We need to move away from the police state we are moving towards. We need to hold those in office responsible for their actions. We need to make them accountablr for their actions.

  • @baileytom78

and what will you have in its place?

  • @nem700 Hard to replace what we have when no other choice is available. I believe it is going to take a real revolt to get us back to by the people for the People.

  • @baileytom78

you need a different political system for that. representative democracy is authoritarian democracy which means vested interests will always usurp the constituency.

  • @irajkhodadoost well said ,.. i see the ows as a shift in being and understanding,.. this movement of change from ego based materialism to a state of care and understanding in unification ,.. this is a process and much like a newborn baby ,.. but on the upside baby ows is 2 months old and knows how to talk what will it say in a year?
