all's I can is: OM freakin GOD!!! that is freakin Phil Vassar?? Wow, he really went through some incarnations before hitting his stride ehhh? As a country singer/pianist he is awesome, but it's difficult to believe he struggled with his persona/identity that much, it's obvious from watching this he was all over the map, he looks here like a combination of Boy George, George Michael, Rick Astley, Daryll Hall, and Lionel Ritchie haaha I can definitely say he finally put it all together now

This proves that Phil Vassar can make a pretty great performance with a terribly bad song. I'm so thankful that Phil kept writing at the piano and found his niche in country music. After seeing this video, it's scary to think how close he came to going down the same musical dead-end road as Rick Astley.

OMG this is so funny. This must have been just got out of college. I especially like the shoulder pads in the jacket. I just love Phil Vassar - mullet and all.

This is so funny. i remember watching this when it aired and wondering what the hell he was wearing. Also, if I remember correctly, Phil was one of the first to perform a song he'd written.
