I had three turbinectomy ( removal of the turbinates, structures in the nose that produce moisture and warm and filter the air) and two septoplasty (Septum corrections) starting 23 years ago. This unnecessary nose surgery lead to extreme nasal dryness, atrophic rhinitis and severe depression. I have Empty Nose Syndrome, a condition caused solely by irresponsible ENT surgeons.

  • @MyENSStory, deleted all your comments? Aww. You missed one.

  • @MyENSStory, RAN AWAY? Let me repeat the questions/key points (1) Removal of appropriate amount of *internal* tissue is the only treatment for hypertrophied turbinates (which I have), therefore what you say at 11-20 in your video is incorrect. Also see reference to Kern's paper in my previous post (2) Likely that you don't know what exactly was done or removed in your procedure. See my posts below for more issues. Try debating intelligently without resorting to personal attacks.

  • @MyENSStory, [11:20]: 10-15%? How does the doctor know? Seen CT's? Removed In what way? SMR? Or removal of the external mucosal layer in any way? Nerve damage, proof? What was DONE exactly, did you even bother to find out? Nerve damage may explain paradoxical obstruction but doesnt explain cold, DRY air (use your head). In every CT scan of an ENS patient, turbs have been removed significantly so 11:20 is incorrect. Now talk about what your CT scans show and what was exactly done.

  • @MyENSStory, You provided no detail as to what was done in your surgery (what and how much was removed), or what your CT scans showed. Do you even know what they show? [6:45]: Had you done your research on ENS BEFORE, you would have known paradox obs is one of two common symptoms for ENS. So you either didnt do enough research, or you lied in the video and did not do it at all. [cont]

  • @MyENSStory, looking at your story. "Instead of doing my own personal research, I asked the doc because I figured the doc would know". Who's the idiot now. I cant believe you didn't do any research yourself without knowing what paradox obs is and then you had the operation done. [3:20] is incorrect. Commonsense should have told you that this is a complex structure evolved over millions of years and removing it "completely" would not be right. Conclusion:You have no commonsense.[cont]

  • @MyENSStory, you couldnt respond to it and now you're saying it was invalid. Its called CENSORSHIP, look it up. Do you belong to the Taliban? "my health, hopes and dreams were taken from me". Listen you idiot, it was ME who wanted all that to happen. LOL. Look at you now. The only dream you had was not to be an idiot. I see that dream has been shattered. Alright. I'll post a response to your video here and lets see how you respond, since you cant delete it here. [cont]

  • @MyENSStory, you're the retard and it looks like Qsand7 will agree with me. You deleted all my comments from your ENS video and blocked me from commenting. I suffer from hypertrophied turbinates. ENS did cost you your sanity and I'm trying my best to avoid bad doctors so I dont get it.

  • Agian with the filthy mouth. You really are a classy lady. I don't see why you feel the need to attack my profession? Besides thinking you are an english teacher, do you actually have a job? Or are you a full time complainer. Oh, you can't work cause you can't sleep? Insomniacs still have to go to work. : ) Take care Nut Job.

  • I totally agree with you on one thing. I don't know ANYTHING about ENS. I am not pretending to. I was just being truthful, that prior to my operation, I watched this unfotunate ladies video and it scared me. I was worried going in. I did mention ENS to the Doctor. He knew about it and said he was not concerned about it in my case. That was reassuring. I am not here to convince anyone of anything. Just wanted to share a positive result.

  • Hanging off everyword doesn't make you smart. Especially in an area where your words are restricted. Take your medication and know, you aren't as smart as you think you are. And more than likely, you aren't as sick as you think you are either. (Started another one with AND for you.)
