Wednesday 15th August. 3 of us blast over to squires cafe for the weekly bike meet up... there weren't nearly as many bikes as usual but it was a mint ride out...

My bike: Honda CBF 600 'S'
Luke: Suzuki GSX-R750
Daz: Yamaha R6
Phil: Suzuki SV650 'S'

Equipment used:
DogCam Pro (520 lines) from www.DogCamSport.co.uk
And a sony DVR-PC101E dv tape camera.

Recorded in full 520 lines DV Tape quality, but obviously this is compressed for youtube so it's not a shining example of the dogcam's capabilities etc...

The sound is crackly but this only occured once I'd exported it from adobe premiere - any ideas?

Edited in Premiere Pro. Music 'Reptilia' by the Strokes and 'Times like these' by the Foo Fighers...

  • This is my favourite ride out video on youtube. I love it when you thrash it past that car at 7:30 lol

  • good old chavs in a 1.2 corsa :)

  • i bought a cbr 600 N but i had some doubts about the engines power and the acceleration, in the video, it seems that the cbf accelerates very well... i hope so... did i do the right choice?

  • it was quick enough for me but I was quite bored with it after 6 months. I swapped to an sv650 sport which I had for just under 2 years and then 2 weeks ago I got myself an sv1000 s

  • Funny vid m8. Made me chuckle!!! lol :o)

  • nice video

  • @TheExpertDude

bmw would prolly be better for touring but if you're on a bit of a budget I'd maybe go for the cbf1000 to be honest... Big and comfy, decent tank range but no fuel gauge. Big space to put your luggage on..

Like I say, if you got the cash then I'd be tempted by the BMW :)

  • BMW F800. Brilliant bikes for touring.

  • @paulthe6th my mum has a 3 door corsa, and i dont think shes a chav!, that corsa is a 5door! no chance in chavs in a 5door!

  • Would you reccomend the CBF 600 for touring? I dont wanna couch bike like a pan.

  • COOL!!!!!!!!

  • Ha! Last bit - The Plow in Mirfield :)

I used to take the same root as you guys to Sherburn.
