Seems to me like Lynch is saying he's done with /film/, meaning he's going to digital, not that he's done with film making. Isn't that the context of the entire documentary?

digital breaks the barrier of limiting beliefs, now more stories can be heard and that's a beautiful thing yet the stories can get lost. as well.
