Adam Lambert is an amazing singer, but as far as performances go, this is probably my favorite of his. You wouldnt even think this was American Idol, he just tore up that stage and made it his own. Props to you my friend.

the original song doesn't have an emphasis on "we can fly so high" (in fact, the whole 1:48 to 1:58 bit) and every time i hear Adam sing that phrase the way he does i feel inspired and guilty. inspired because he believed he could do it, despite everything. Guilty, because we let him down...we brought him down.
