I would love one of these dogs. I love the shiba inus too but the shikoku just takes my breath away. Where can I find a really good reputable breeder? I want to make sure they aren't some puppy mill but really good lines. I don't want to breed so pet only but I think it is important to only purchase from those that are serious with keeping the breed lines good/pure. Thanks!

@uryuu300 any dog is aggressive towards other dogs if they aren't trained or aren't introduced to stranger dogs at a young age.

I got a shikoku dog here in the phil. he's to smart, and he is loyal to his master( me )
Only problem is if the temperature gets extremely hot especially summer
he weakens unlike local dogs like ascals, but damn shikoku dog is so cute

beautiful dog, too bad the only breeder in Canada is in BC, I live in Quebec and no one raises them..I would love to get one as a companion to our family and our coydog, Cheyenne!
