You're not referring to the Cathedral office not being open until the 5th, are you? My guess would have been the school's office.

Hi!
No - I haven't heard anything from Sheffield but understand that they have earmarked the Cavaillé Coll from the Parry Hall.
The more I hear these videos the more I hope that someone can make necessary arrangements ASAP. The organ builder Matthew Copley says that the timescale on this instrument is no more than about two weeks.
It's so sad that the incoming Dance School can't do a bit of joined-up thinking here and include the teaching of music with the teaching of dance. . .

That is WONDERFUL news! Thanks! But the office does not open until 5th January - does anyone know anyone in Sheffield who might be able to get things moving before then?
HAPPY CHRISTMAS! And may this be a wonderful christmas present to this organ and to a cathedral. . . . but we cannot be complacent - does anyone else know of any other cathedrals churches schools or colleges or concert halls who would like such a wonderful musical instrument as this?
