A Musical, Animated Pictorial Video about Beaver Island, Michigan. Including all original music and lyrics. Over 220 spectacular photographs, natural scenery, beautiful sunsets, wild scenic shorelines, fun-filled events and celebrations, many of the Island's visitors and the wonderful people who call Beaver Island their home.
The video features an original song "I Dream of the Island" written, composed and recorded on Beaver Island by Ted Nicholas. The stunning photography, mostly contributed by the Beaver Island community, is woven together in-time with the music using artistically created transitions and special effects, original animations, specially designed Titles and musical captions. The video soundtrack includes a beautiful mix of nature sounds, the pounding waves of Lake Michigan, seagulls and forest birds, and the haunting call of the Loon. Many of the nature sounds were recorded "live" on Beaver Island.

This video is NOT your "standard" promo video, but more akin to an artsy, music video! It tells a musical tale of longing to be on Beaver Island, to take in it's secluded natural Northern Michigan surroundings, wishing to enjoy it's many celebrations and events with the local Islanders. The video includes special narrations in the tale that provide a lyrical insight to life on Beaver Island.

Very well produced piece on BI. Many good photos, narration, and song. I would have hoped that the CMU Biological Station would have been highlighted too.

I worked there in 1966 as grad student. Enjoyed the Island Life then and many times since. Good Work!
