Original ABC Dunhill Records #4144
45 RPM Vinyl

Debut 8/31/68
Peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart

Written by Lou Josie
Produced by Steve Barri
Horns arranged by Jimmie Haskell
Published by Little Fugitive Music (BMI)

Flip side: "Who Will You Be Tomorrow"

This is the ORIGINAL HOT MONO MIX as heard when this record was a hit on the radio in 1968, but that you can NOT hear today, for only the inferior stereo mix is heard today.

ABC Dunhill destroyed many of it's mono masters in the 1970's, so as a result, the only way to hear this great music as it sounded originally, is from the original vinyl 45 RPM record!

  • I have a mono 45 of this on the Roulette label.

  • It's probably a re-issue.

If it's the mono mix, it's a keeper!

  • Can you post "Rock and Roll Love Letter" by Bay City Rollers?

  • I gotta see if I have that one (I should). I'll add it to my request list, so please be patient.

    Thanks!

music The Grass Roots - Midnight Confessions

    love

  • 2 people confessed they don't like this type of music:(

  • 2 had no midnight confessions !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude ur the best!!!!!!!

  • I used to joke on college radio as to whether Midnight Confessions confirms to Miranda rights. Back in 1968, when this song came out in the fall, was before the Nixon-Burger Court perverted Miranda into prophylactic nonsense. Most American have no clue that Miranda rules confessions, so they miss the point that it is the Fifth Amendment against coercion, not "prophylactic".

  • .... Super Duper.. and Thanks.

  • What are the differences between the mono and stereo versions? Any differently mixed parts?

  • R.I.P. Rob Grill

  • RIP Rob, how I loved this music.
