My older brother was a newspaper boy who delivered the daily news to the Ford home back when he lived in Michigan. One Christmas, my brother was ill, so I did the route for him. Mrs. Ford invited me in from the freezing route and let me take my wet shoes off and I sat next to the fireplace, drying out with what I remember as a perfect cup hot chocolate. A few minutes later, Mr. Ford arrived home and seeing me, came over and shook my hand. He mistakenly took me for his paper boy. It was so cool.
