@ciocanlica I don't even have to wikipedia that. Its called "eddy currents". when the flux through a conductor changes (the copper pipe), eddy currents are created. The eddy currents always resist the motion of the magnet. There's no free energy here, just gravitational potential energy being converted into heat via current flowing through the pipe. @ciocanlica if by "excited to talk about his invention" you mean "depressed that he had proven his invention wouldnt work" then yes. Yes, there is free energy. Solar, wind, tidal and geothermal power are all free energy sources. Youre not talking about free energy though, you're talking about magic energy. Have you ever noticed that 95% of the videos here are devices that just plain dont work, and the other 5% that "do work" have links to where you can buy things or invest? Come on.

He was distraught enough that he later killed himself. Only crazy magic energy conspiracy people argue that it was anything but what it seemed. Whats the next name?

Look, Im not saying big energy companies are good, I'm just pointing out the obvious problems in this conspiracy logic. Like this video itself. Inventors and scientists are being killed to hush them, and yet videos like this sit here for years and no one does anything to try to make them go away? I really hope you can understand the logical ridiculousness of that.
