3D Modeling: Karting 2
Second part. There's been a time lapse between uploading time lapses:) I got sick like a bitch, still am, and wasn't into whole uploading mood. I like this part - go-kart gets an engine, well part of it. I watched Kick-Ass movie - pure beauty, excellence & elegance and Roger Ebert didn't like it so you know it must be awesome:) I noticed that when Roger Ebert likes some movie I like it too but when he hates a movie I love it, examples would be Resident Evil & Death Race, but what do I know:)
I started using wordpress again since my geocities pages are gone, here is me as Kick-Ass: http://korado3d.wordpress.com/2010/05/15/2010-2/
Some interesting reactions to Blender's OpenSource Sintel movie WIPs, I am wondering if people that criticizing are absolute pros who don't
make mistakes or a fuckin' trolling noobs who never got further than creating a cube in a 3D software, but what do I know:) I am excited about that animated short, I like the trailer I think the scene with the dragon looks beautiful.

------------
I used Wings3D but software is irrelevant, Wings, Blender, Softimage, 3ds Max, Maya, Lightwave or whatever have the same tool set some named differently, but move, rotate, scale, extrude etc are standard. I've used Wings3D 1.1.6 (which is not the recent version but I'm used to it), I use Maya camera mode because of [Alt]-LeftClick rotation. I usually start with a cube, cut it in half, select & delete one half and then mirror the remaining geometry, the rest of the process is pretty basic: extrude, rotate, flatten, scale, connect, inset, bridge faces etc (all commands accessible from Right-Click menu), I have 'T' for 'tweak'. '1' to toggle between 'magnet' and 'tweak', 'L' to loop select, 'C' to cut.
