@mareforza10 I understand what you are saying about imaginative 3d artists that have saturated the internet blogs with incredible models and illustrations of wildly creative automobile designs...
perhaps the difference is in the fact that pretty much he was probably one of the earliest innovators of organic industrial design and actually builds his creations... he doesnt stop at the drawing stage to satisfy the futuristic car fans...he actually has the intention of driving them!
@xpez I see your point, his utility is like the utility that fashion designer have for big clothes company, fairy enough.. but still I can not see the difference between him and a 3D artist like many in internet. when I see his work I do not see a step forward or a higher level of quality/creativity compared to the many renderings we can see in forums everyday. It is probably just matter of brand..he's famous, the others not.
But this is just my opinion. probably I simply can not see his genius
@mareforza10 his cars ARE produced....they set land speed records...
If you mean why his cars are not bought by NISSAN and mass produced then he seems to be above that...like a design god...HAHA!!! NISSAN calls him to review their work!!!
This is like a fine artist that makes Cars and vehicles and speed his art form...
@xpez I think cars in the streets R already great cars that Colani can see. What I'm asking is why so much relevance is given to him when is obvious that his cars can not be produced. If his power lies in making sensational and new shapes, well, I can see thousands of 3D artist doing the same every day in many forums on the inet, why give so much attention to him? maybe because he has been one of the first doing this kind of shapes?I do not know. They always taught me that style is not desig
@mareforza10 whenever I hear this criticism it can only bring about this kind of response..."if you can do better than stop talking and do it!" thats it! no BS you have a lifetime to show us. I am sure Colani would be proud to see someone else make a great car. Go on now show us how great you are!
mareforza10 you must be looking for a pissing match. You
are obviously not a designer or very bright. How much do you know about Prof. Colani and his work aside from this video? You should spend less time on YouTube and more time learning to communicate better and spell correctly.
hes doing all that while smoking a big cigar :D
