Many African men also prefer women who have legal status that they can benefit from; hence, they tend to get married to westerners rather than Black African immigrants. The words of a respondent say it all: 'The truth of the matter is, we do not have a very wide selection of African men to choose from as we (the single women) outnumber them (the single men) in this country. Disappointingly, the few that are available tend to date and marry people of other races usually to get legal status.' Again due to lack of trust for western-based African women who are generally perceived to be arrogant, argumentative, disrespectful, non-submissive and dishonest or unfaithful, other men go to look for women partners in their various home countries.

No parents would keep their daugther from marrying for the numbers of years you claim. If your parents see that your are incompetent to manage yourself, they will be worried about you. The fact is that you know more than your parents when you were at their age. If what you want is to Test men as you do wine, your parent may think U will bring shame to them. 2 different Nigerian girls did this to me but they never remembered there was a time they could not even eat or buy MTN 100Naira card but i gave them shelter,food,cloths,money and love. Despite this inhuman act i still love Nigerian girls so much till date but what i may not know if i will marry a Nigerian woman in my life but i will marry an African but probably not a Nigerian if am using my real mentality and good reason but if am using my eyes and feelings then i will marry a Nigerian.

U always fellow ur eyes not ur heart. for Nigerian girls 85% are only Educated in certificate but not in mentality same goes to men too. I lives in Abroad and for years i have been faithful to a Nigerian girl based in Nigeria but after her studies and help i gave to her to complete her Education she turned back at me.

@mrblackalchemist really??? White women put them selves at risk just to change themselves. Skin cancer for a "nice" tan. Death just to look like what they naturally don't look like. Are you googling stats or just going back and forth with me? Go into any white womans bathroom and you will see tools she uses to get straight smooth hair. If anything...only asians and indians have naturally straight smooth hair. Black women love fashion/diversity more than any other race that's why we change hair.
