Norristown Arts Hill launches! P21 goes behind-the-scenes, interviewing some key personnel who made it happen, and giving you a small taste of what you may have missed. It truly was exciting to help bring arts to a town that understands their importance, and works this hard to make it happen. April 24th, 2010.

Special thanks to our P21 intern and Cabrini student volunteers who helped shoot this footage:

  • Project21: I know that this is a shot in the dark but, I'll ask anyway. Some years ago, probably the late 90s, a guy was arrested in the Philly area. He was detained and ultimately sent to the Norristown State Hospital for being a danger to himself and to others. He was an older, 70+, white male who believed a plethora of conspiracy theories about connections between ppl going back hundreds of years. They said he was a paranoid schizophrenic so they put him away.

    You got anything on this?

  • @SpookeyR We're somewhat new to Norristown (2008), so i am not familiar with this story. Want us to ask around? Is this for a documentary or is this someone you know?

  • @Project21: It will look at ppl from all walks of life who believe in them. And it will look at specific conspiracy theories, such as those surrounding 9/11, the Philadelphia Experiment, landing on the Moon, UFO conspiracy theories, secret societies (the NWO/Illuminati, etc.), and some lesser known conspiracy theories, surrounding places such as the Philadelphia State Hospital, the Philadelphia Arsenal, convicted serial killer Wayne Williams, and apocalyptic prophesies and others.

  • @SpookeyR If we hear anything, not only about N-town, but conspiracy stuff in general, we'll contact you directly. I hope someone from N-town will see these comments & respond with your answer!

  • @Project21: Yes, actually. I am in the early stages of creating the layout, the script, etc., for an independent documentary film that centers on taking a somewhat critical look at "conspiracy theories" and how logical and possible some of them are to how gross & deformed they are, can be, and become, and at what stage do those ppl that believe in them go from being a little off the wall to being "a danger to themselves and to others".

  • Wow that looked like a great event. Wish Justice could have been there. Hopefully next year!
