What is the difference between you buying yourself a loaf of bread and government buying one for you? Besides the fact that you pay the government to buy the loaf of bread, nothing. You consume it either way, and both you and government currently pay the embedded cost of income capital gain, corporate income and other taxes.

Let me get this straight -- the fed goverment pays FICA taxes for its employees, just like normal employers do.

So what dufus? For fairtax to charge the federal government a trillion in SALES taxes it has to pay ITSELF is bullshit.

Does the federal government pay itself an INCOME tax on its INCOME?

Charging the federal government a sales tax it pays to itself, is as much bullshit as if you put an income tax on the federal government.
