Poor Puss from Castletroy Park Hotel

Recorded on June 17, 2010 using a Flip Video camcorder. This poor stray cat was rescued from the grounds of the Castletroy Park Hotel when staff alerted us to his plight. He appears to have been hit by a car a long time ago, which left him with a non-union fracture in his front leg which has not healed and is very painful. He also lost a lot of his teeth in the impact and some are broken below the gumline - again, very painful. He was also suffering from a severe lice infestation. When his skin is healed he will have surgery to amputate his deformed front leg, which is non-weight bearing and the vet will extract the broken teeth. He'll get about on three legs just fine - he can't bear any weight on the bad leg and hasn't used it since the accident.
