it's nice to know i'm not the only one that thought it was "pussy cow" all the years I was growing up watching these commercials in So. Cal.! I just remembered his commercials today, and now live in Indiana and showed my husband...he was laughing his head off...he thought they were saying "pussy cow," too! :)

What's great is that every one of these scenes is from actual commercials which aired on television in Los Angeles.

In the mid-late 70's they will run this commercial a lot on KCOP TV 13 Los Angeles!

This guy got his license removed from the state of Washington and California and was banned from selling. He was rolling back miles, and doing a bait and switch.

I've tried to find something (anything) that supports this allegation and have come up empty. Please don't spread ugly rumors about an icon without citing a source. The most I could find was that he retired in 2006, but continues to make the random commercial. I have found nothing that supports the charge that he was banned or ever involved in anything illegal.
