@guitarofvelocity No man, that's simply accompaniment in an odd signature timing, you know, "off" the beat instead of on it. Counterpoint is several "LEADING" voices/melodies all equally heard that may even go in diferent directions but still complementing each other.

@guitarofvelocity Just a little correction...there is NO "counterpoint" whatsoever on this track. because there is only "ONE" voice or melody being played.

Great Harmony and counterpoint! amazing timing and very off beat! AWESOME! Ignore all the loosers that put negative comments they couldn't play Greg Howe, Becker etc just boring 4/4 ordinary shred that all metal players play.
